Campus Camps is led by Nick Fucci. He and his family started Campus Camps in 2015. Prior to realizing his dream of opening a summer camp, Nick was the Assistant Director of Camps and Clinics for Stony Brook University. He held that position from 2011 2015. His camp “career started at Ivy League Day Camp over 30 years ago as a camper and eventually a Counselor in Training. After 11 summers at Ivy League, Nick went on to work at Hidden Pond Day Camp for 8 summer and then spent 3 summers as the Director of Kids Quest summer camp. Nick has his MBA in General Management and an MsEd degree in Adolescent Education. 2021 will be Nick’s 34 th summer at camp. Ashleigh has been involved with Campus Camps since the beginning. She oversees the camp office and is responsible of Enrollments, Programming and all Administrative needs of the camp. 2021 will be Ashleigh’s 7 th summer at Campus Camps. Ashleigh has over 14 years of camp experience, working at The Summer Camps at Stony Brook University and Hidden Pond Day Camp. During the school year, Ashleigh is a Teaching Assistant in the Sachem district and is currently pursuing a degree in Special Education. Danielle returns for her 3rd summer at Campus Camps. Danielle leads our Specialists, Coaches and Instructors and trains the campers in our PhD program. Danielle also helps develop our programming and manages major camper issues. Danielle graduated from East Stroudsburg University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Minor in Sports Psychology. She was a member of the East Stroudsburg Women’s Soccer Team and was named Captain her senior year. She is currently working on her Master’s Degree at West Chester University to become a School Counselor. Her future goals are to become an Elementary School Counselor and a High School soccer coach. 2021 will be Brenna’s 3rd summer at Campus Camps and second on our Leadership Team. Brenna supervises all campers and staff and manages any camper issues that arise during the camp day. She is also responsible for leading and training our Counselors throughout the summer. Brenna will also be available to assist any parents that have questions or concerns over the summer. Brenna graduated from SUNY Cortland in May of 2020 with a Bachelors in Adolescent Education and Social Studies. She is currently enrolled in a Master’s program at St. Joseph’s College in Special Education with an Annotation in Students with Severe Multiple Disabilities. She is currently a Resident Substitute Teacher at Plainedge High School and holds the position of Head Varsity Coach for their Kickline Team. One of her goals for this upcoming camp season is to make sure everyone is having fun but also healthy and safe! Brenna is very excited for another fun summer with new and returning campers! We’d like to welcome back Nicole for 2021. Nicole oversees our off-campus Graduate Travel Programming. She is responsible for the planning of all aspects of our trips. This will be Nicole’s 5th summer working at Campus Camps. She is a graduate from SUNY Oneonta with a Bachelor’s Degree in Childhood Education and is working on her Master’s in Literacy Education. Nicole spent many summers working at a lacrosse camp through her school district. She currently is a teacher in the Smithtown School District. Nicole loves spending time with her family, and puppy!
