JULY 1 – 5
No Academy July 4th
Campers will learn the fundamental engineering and technical principles of building and programming robots to move and function. Through the use of sound, light, and touch sensors, campers will be able to program their robots to “see, hear, and perceive” their surroundings.

JULY 8 – 12
10… 9… 8… 7… 6… 5… 4… 3… 2… 1… Blast Off into our Space and Aeronautics Academy. Campers will explore the world of aerodynamics, rocketry, and space exploration. Our Junior Campstronauts will explore the solar system and build rockets that will launch into the sky.
THEATER & IMPROV
JULY 15 – 19
No Academy July 16th
An introduction for anyone to learn the fundamentals of improvisation and theater. This academy will provide the basic tools, rules, and philosophy through games, drills, and simple scene creations. Campers will be able to take the stage and show off their skills they learn in this fun academy.
JULY 22 – 26
This academy is unlike other painting academies. Most project will not be created on paper or canvas, instead these projects will be created on wood. No art skills are needed. You will leave the with some amazing art pieces that you will be proud to hang in your home.
JULY 29 – AUGUST 2
No Academy August 1st
Robots will take over this academy, your challenge is to control them and teach them the skills needed to complete the tasks. Campers will use coding and engineering skills to build robots and complete the daily tasks assigned by the instructor.
AUGUST 5 – 9
A crime has been committed in the Bourne Mansion and you are tasked with recreating the scene and figuring out what happened! Are you up for the challenge? Everyone is counting on you to figure out who committed the crime. We will give you the tools needed to be a great Crime Scene Investigator.
DRAWING & PAINTING
AUGUST 12 – 16
No Academy August 14th
Campers of all ages will explore a variety of painting and drawing techniques and styles. We’ll try watercolors, tempera paints, pastels, chalks and pencil creations In addition to these individual creations, we’ll create a collaborative piece that campers will work on together.
AUGUST 19 – 23
This academy is designed to guide campers in creative writing through experience in three genres: short story, poetry, and creative non fiction. Campers will be able to learn the techniques needed to write creatively and improve their story telling skills.
AUGUST 26 – 30
No Academy August 30th
Campers will learn about the inner-workings of a computer and gain an understanding of the software and hardware needed to make a computer run. This is a hands-on academy where campers will be able to dissect a computer and work together to rebuild it.
