Campus Camps

C.I.T. / PHD

Program

Pre-Hire Development Training Program

Many camps offer a Counselor in Training or CIT program which allows the 9th and 10th graders the opportunity to shadow a counselor for the summer.  We wanted to take this type of program to the next level. We feel it is important for these campers to experience more. We will have them learn from our Counselors, Specialists, Leadership and Office staff.  They will have the opportunity to be prepared for any summer camp job.  This program will also prepare these individuals for jobs outside of camp.  We will work on resumes and interview skills.  We will also have weekly meetings to discuss issues that might arise at camp. They will also have the opportunity to venture off campus to a wide variety of locations with our Graduate Program.  PhD candidates will be eligible to take trips with the Graduate Program when available. This will give them some time each day to interact with their peers and participate in camp activities.  This program is supervised by some of our veteran staff members and their goal is to create a fun and engaging training program for all of our candidates.
